Metal type 6V6 and glass
octal type 6V6-GT are used as output amplifiers in automobile, battery- operated, and other receivers in which reduced plate-current drain is desirable. Type 6V6-GT may be supplied with pin No.1 omitted. Tubes require octal socket and may be mounted in any position. The 6V6 and 6V6-GT are equivalent in performance to type 6AQ5A. |
